Tim Donahue has been a Connecticut trial attorney since 1979. He graduated from Wesleyan University, cum laude in 1974 and received his Law Degree in 1978 from Boston College Law School. Following law school, he served as a Law Clerk to Chief Judge T. Emmett Clarie in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.

For the first eight years of his legal career, Tim was a trial attorney in the Litigation Department of Halloran & Sage, LLP. He was a partner in that firm when he left in 1987 to join a small Wallingford litigation firm, which eventually evolved into Donahue, Durham & Noonan, P.C.

Tim has a diverse trial practice which includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury as well as commercial cases. He has tried numerous jury and courtside cases and has successfully argued appeals before the Connecticut Supreme Court, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Connecticut Appellate Court. Tim is often selected by litigants to serve as a sole arbiter in personal injury cases.

His professional accomplishments include his being listed in such peer-nominated publications as The Best Lawyers in America,The Best Lawyers in New England, Connecticut Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in the New York Area.

Over the years, Tim has lectured at continuing legal education seminars on topics, including Connecticut’s product liability statute as well as effective deposition and trial techniques.

Long active in the community, Tim has volunteered for over 30 years at the Columbus House Soup Kitchen in New Haven. He is on the Board of Directors of the Saint Martin de Porres School of New Haven and is a mentor to two students at Notre Dame High School in West Haven through the Shepherd's Program.
