Automobile Liability

Yale University, New Haven, CT

Our attorneys have been litigating automobile liability and uninsured/underinsured motorist cases for almost 30 years. We have successfully concluded hundreds of cases either in court or before arbitration panels. We have earned a reputation of being tough but ethical advocates.

This reputation has resulted in insurers frequently retaining us in matters involving catastrophic injury in excess of available policy limits as well as retaining us to represent claims representatives who are required to testify in bad faith cases. The depth and diversity of our trial experience permits us to offer and provide services at all stages of litigation. It is common for our attorneys to be consulted even before a claim is instituted to assist in the investigation and reconstruction of an accident, the evaluation of a catastrophic injury or wrongful death claim or to identify the areas of investigation in a complicated claim.

In addition to handling matters from the start of a lawsuit through trial, our firm regularly is retained to litigate cases prepared by in-house counsel.

Our attorneys are well versed in the critical role which science and medicine play in the successful defense of a case, and we are skilled in identifying and retaining the experts necessary to successfully litigate a claim.

Members of our firm regularly act as Special Masters in both State and Federal Court in automobile liability cases. In addition, our attorneys are frequently selected to serve as private mediators/arbiters in cases involving automobile liability and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.
